Hi, I’m Erika Brown, President of MACS PTO. I wanted to be president of the PTO so that I could help make a positive difference for the staff and students at MACS. I have two boys enrolled and they love being at MACS. I am so pleased with all that they do. My oldest had his own business when he was in fourth grade and I was so proud of all he accomplished. My youngest is hoping to follow suit and create his own business. It has been wonderful to see them both learn valuable life skills. One of the reasons I know my children have had so much success is because of their kind and dedicated teachers. Part of the PTO mission is to make sure our staff knows they are appreciated and supported. We love giving them monthly gifts and a highlight of the year is always teacher appreciation week. We know that by supporting the staff and school, it will lead to the success of our students. I hope this year we can grow our PTO and warmly welcome new members. I would love to see the PTO become an active part of MACS through volunteers, activities, and community.

Hi! My name is Kelsey Bonnes. I’m the incoming Vice President. I joined the PTO in 2024 when my daughter started kindergarten here at MACS. I have served as a member, grade level parent, lower school liaison, and now I’m eager to serve as VP. I joined the PTO because I value the insight and perspective that PTO involvement brings. This allows me to serve our students, teachers, staff, and families. My goal as VP is to bring more exposure to the work our PTO does, gain more members, and continue to bring families together while supporting our MACS community where needed.

Hi, I’m Shawna Dziekpor, Lower School Liaison of MACS PTO. I wanted to be the liaison of the PTO so that I could be an approachable link between the PTO and the direct community of teachers and parents. I am an educator by trade spending more than a decade in classrooms and running my own before I turned my attention to being home with my children. I have two boys enrolled at MACS and a brand new baby girl. My boys have thrived at MACS and the teaching community is fabulous. While my focus remains on my children I adore the fact that I can still participate and be part of a school community while directly being involved with my own children. My hope with the PTO for the 2026-2027 school year is to bring parents and teachers together to achieve an active cohesive environment at MACS for all of our children to thrive. MACS is truly a unique school offering invaluable skills to this new generation.
