A play-based, hands-on approach to learning that fosters social and physical development through experimentation and exploration. Our preschool program will provide a foundation that will support a smooth and confident transition to Kindergarten, as well as allow students to get acclimated to the school day and environment.
9:00-9:20 Morning work, independent coloring
9:20-9:40 Circle time – greeting, question of the day, calendar
9:40-10:00 Recess
10:05-10:25 Snack
10:30-11:10 Focus Board – letter, number, color of the week. Group lesson/review and worksheets
11:15-11:45 Free Play (until morning students go home)
12:00-12:10 Movement Break
12:15-12:40 Lunch in the cafeteria (with Kindergarten)
12:45-1:15 Quiet Time – students listen to a book, then listen to soft music with a fidget or a book
1:20-1:30 Movement Break
1:30-2:10 Centers, Science, Group activity or craft
2:20-2:45 Recess
2:45-3:00 Circle time – chat or play game on rug (until students go home)
