Hello! My name is Mary McGuire and I am one of the K teachers here at MACS! I have always felt establishing a love for learning is crucial in supporting students in the classroom and in stretching their want to learn outside of school. In my classroom, the best learning happens through play and hands on activities where students are able to make real world connections. It also helps to promote essential social-emotional skills in students as they navigate learning new skills and making new friends. I work hard to build a warm classroom with a strong sense of community to ensure that all students and families feel welcome and respected. I cannot wait to continue my time as part of the MACS community!
